The filing period for 2026 begins January 1, 2026 and ends April 30, 2026. Your plan must be submitted between those dates. Remember, because you are switching from one form of Ag to another, you must have an Ag valuation on your property in 2025.
You may begin implementing your plan prior to January 1 – In fact you should! At the time your plan is submitted, your activities should have already begun, but they don’t need to be finished.
